Group-1 appointments Telangana

HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court has issued key directions regarding the ongoing Group-1 recruitment process, placing a temporary stay on issuing appointment letters. The court ruled that until the hearing of all related petitions is concluded, no appointment orders should be given to selected candidates.

However, the court allowed the certificate verification process to continue. The directive came in response to a series of legal petitions alleging irregularities in the Group-1 recruitment. So far, 20 petitions have been filed in connection with the matter.

The court instructed the state government to refrain from finalising postings or issuing appointment letters until a final verdict is delivered. The next phase of the proceedings is expected to further examine the concerns raised about the transparency and fairness of the recruitment process.
