Hyderabad: The Telangana Housing Board will begin a series of land auctions across urban areas, including GHMC limits, on October 6. Officials confirmed that both residential and commercial plots will go under the hammer through public and e-auctions.
Chintal and Nizampet residential plots
The first phase will open on October 6 with 22 residential plots and flats in Chintal and Nizampet-Bachupally. These include 18 MIG and HIG plots in Chintal and four in Nizampet-Bachupally. The Housing Board had already issued the notification on September 15.
KPHB and Nampally commercial plots
Earlier auctions in KPHB Colony fetched nearly ₹70 crore per acre. Building on that success, the Board will now offer four more commercial plots in the area on October 7 and 8. The plots measure 6,549 sq. yards, 2,420 sq. yards, 2,397 sq. yards, and 726 sq. yards.
Moreover, on October 8, officials will also auction a 1,148 sq. yard commercial plot in Nampally through e-auction.
Large tracts in Chintal and Raviryala
On October 9 and 10, the Housing Board will bring larger parcels to auction. These include 10,890 sq. m in Chintal, as well as 13,503 sq. m, 5,953.20 sq. m, and 3,630 sq. m in Raviryala of Maheshwaram mandal.
Auctions in districts
In addition, district-level auctions will follow over the next 10 days. Bidders can compete for plots in Sangareddy-Sadashivapet, Jogulamba Gadwal, Nizamabad, and several other areas.
Housing Board officials stressed that all relevant notifications have already been published.
