Hyderabad: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Telangana government transferred several IAS officers on Sunday. Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari issued the official orders in this regard.
The government has appointed K. Ramakrishna Rao as the new Chief Secretary, succeeding Santhi Kumari, who is set to retire on the April 30. Additionally, Shashank Goel has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of Good Governance.
Jayesh Ranjan has been assigned the role of CEO of the Industries and Investment Cell, while Sanjay Kumar has been entrusted with the responsibilities of Special Chief Secretary for Industries and Commerce.
Smita Sabharwal has been appointed as the Member Secretary of the Finance Commission, and Dana Kishore will serve as the Principal Secretary of the Labour Department. T.K. Sridevi has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department (outside the HMDA limits), while Elambarthi will serve as the Secretary for Urban Development within the HMDA jurisdiction.
R.V. Karnan has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). K. Shashanka will take charge as the Commissioner of the Future Development Authority, while S. Harish has been appointed as the CMD of GENCO. Nikhila will serve as the Secretary-CEO of the State Human Rights Commission.
Sangeeta Satyanarayana has been appointed as the Director of the Health and Family Welfare Department, and S. Venkata Rao will serve as the Director of the Endowments Department and the Executive Officer of the Yadagirigutta Temple.
P. Katyayani Devi has been assigned as the Additional CEO of SERP, and E.V. Narasimha Reddy will take charge as the Additional CEO of the Industries-Investment Cell.
Among other appointments, Hemant Sahadev Rao has been appointed as the Zonal Commissioner of GHMC, and Phanindra Reddy has been named Managing Director of TGMIDC. Kadivaran will serve as the Joint Commissioner of the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department.
Vidya Sagar has been appointed as the Additional Collector (Local Bodies) of Hyderabad. Additionally, P. Upendra Reddy, a non-cadre officer, has been appointed as the Secretary of HMDA.
