HYDERABAD: An intermediate student in Telangana’s Jagtial district died by suicide, allegedly due to fear of performing poorly in his exams. The incident occurred in Korutla, where the student, identified as Sanjay, was found hanging in his home.
According to police reports, Sanjay took this extreme step while his family was away attending Maha Shivaratri celebrations. Investigations revealed that he had previously failed his intermediate exams and was anxious about facing similar results in the upcoming tests. Police believe this distress led him to take his own life.
Authorities have registered a case and are conducting further investigations.
