Hyderabad: The Telangana government has extended the validity of accreditation cards for working journalists by three more months.
Special Commissioner of the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department, CH Priyanka, issued orders to this effect on Saturday. The cards, which were originally set to lapse on June 30, will now remain valid until September 30, 2025.
Officials cited administrative reasons for the extension. Communication has been sent to all district collectors and the TSRTC regarding the updated validity window.
The revised timeline will be effective from July 1 to September 30, and applies to all accredited journalists across the state.
