Hyderabad: Telangana’s Vemulawada Junior Civil Court Judge Jyothi Ramai gave birth to a baby boy through a normal delivery at Vemulawada Area Hospital. This marks her second childbirth at the same government facility her first, in 2023, was also at the same hospital, where she delivered a baby girl.
The news drew praise from Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, who congratulated the judge and commended her for reaffirming public trust in government healthcare. Her decision to opt for state-run medical services twice, despite her position, has drawn widespread appreciation.
Minister Rajanarasimha stated that government hospitals in the state have been significantly strengthened and now offer round-the-clock medical care with trained specialists. He urged citizens to take full advantage of the free medical services provided by the state.
