Hyderabad: The Telangana government is preparing to revise market values for land and properties located within and outside the Outer Ring Road (ORR), ahead of the next round of registrations. The Stamps and Registration Department has initiated consultations to finalise the changes.
According to official sources, committees headed by Additional Collectors in various districts recently held meetings to reassess land values across 20 municipalities and seven municipal corporations located outside the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits. These panels reviewed current prices in prime corridors and commercial zones and submitted their proposals to the state government.
The proposals have already been discussed at the chief ministerial level. A formal note is expected to be placed before the Cabinet in its upcoming meeting for approval. Once cleared, the Registration Department will seek public feedback on the revised rates via its official website. The new market values will be implemented after the government issues its final decision.
