Hyderabad: A tragic accident in Telangana’s Karimnagar district has claimed the life of a 20-year-old MBA student, who slipped and fell into a well in Kandulapalli village on Tuesday.
The young woman, Ashwita, had stayed home with her younger brother Raju while their parents were away working under the MNREGA scheme. At some point during the morning, she walked over to the family’s well to draw water and is believed to have slipped while leaning in.
Raju later went to the well to rinse his feet and was shocked to find his sister lying unresponsive in the water. He immediately called for help, prompting neighbours to rush over. They pulled Ashwita out, but she had already passed away by then.
The sudden death of the bright young student has plunged the village into mourning. Locals remember her as studious and full of ambition, and the news has left the community stunned and grieving.
