Hyderabad: The Telangana government has issued orders to notify the Census 2027 exercise across the state. Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao released Government Order 142 formalising the notification.
The state administration will publish the Centre’s proclamation on Census 2027 in the Telangana Gazette. The Centre has declared that the decennial enumeration will begin across the country at midnight on March 1, 2027, under Section 3 of the Census Act, 1948.
