Telangana Police intensified police border checks after Delhi attack

Hyderabad: Telangana Police intensified police border checks on Wednesday night after the terror attack in Delhi. CP Sunil Dutt issued the instructions at 11 p.m. and directed Kalluru ACP Anishetty Raghu to take charge. Moreover, officers reached Gangaram village quickly and began stopping vehicles entering the state from Andhra Pradesh.

Officers tighten police border checks at Gangaram

Teams intercepted every vehicle on the national highway because the operation required full inspection. Furthermore, the sudden checks unsettled motorists as officers signalled them to pull over without delay. They examined each vehicle carefully and continued the process in an organised sequence.

Sattupalli town CI Tummalapalli Srihari joined the operation along with Rural CI Muthulingam. In addition, Sattupalli division SIs supported the teams by managing the queue and guiding drivers through the inspection point. Officers extended the checks late into the night to strengthen security along the border.
