Hyderabad: In a bizarre incident, a priest was kidnapped in Siddipet district after two rival groups clashed over the timing of Ganesh puja at their pandals. The unusual episode took place in Kohda village on Thursday evening.
Two Ganesh pandals located on the same street had engaged the services of a single priest. When the time for the evening ritual arrived, both groups demanded that the puja be performed first at their respective pandal. The argument quickly escalated. In a dramatic turn, one group forcibly picked up the priest and drove him away on a motorcycle.
