HYDERABAD: The Meteorological Department in Hyderabad has forecast light to moderate rainfall in various districts of Telangana over the next two days due to shifting weather conditions.
According to senior official Dharmaraju, rainfall is expected in erstwhile Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, and Siddipet districts. Mahbubnagar is also likely to witness scattered showers ranging from light to moderate intensity.
He explained that rising daytime temperatures—from morning to afternoon—will be followed by increased chances of rainfall later in the day. These shifts are being attributed to changing atmospheric patterns across the region.
Dharmaraju added that, compared to last year, Telangana has recorded a higher volume of rainfall during the current summer season. However, he also cautioned that the coming four days could see a spike in daytime temperatures, particularly across the northern districts of the state.
Residents are advised to stay updated with local weather alerts and take necessary precautions against both heat and unexpected rainfall.
