Hyderabad: The Telangana government has released ₹104 crore in a single installment to clear pending bills of panchayat secretaries, Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka announced on Monday.
She said this is the first time the government has disbursed such a large amount at once. The move aims to ease the financial burden on panchayat secretaries across the State.
Seethakka credited Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for their quick decision. “This timely step has reduced pressure on staff and improved grassroots governance,” she said.
She called the fund release a major move toward strengthening the Panchayati Raj system. The Minister also thanked both the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister for their active support.
