Hyderabad: Telangana Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha reviewed measures to control seasonal diseases at a meeting held at the Rajiv Aarogyasri Healthcare Trust office in Hyderabad.
Officials presented a PowerPoint briefing on the state’s preparedness. They informed the minister that seasonal diseases remained under full control. Director of Health Dr. Ravinder Kumar said cases had declined compared with last year.

Officials told the minister that early preventive steps taken by the Public Health Department helped reduce infections. They said field teams also spread awareness among the public as per the minister’s instructions.
Raja Narasimha directed officials to aim for a “zero seasonal case state.” He stressed that all hospitals in Telangana had adequate medicines to treat seasonal illnesses.
The meeting was attended by Health Secretary Dr. Christina Z. Chongthu, Aarogyasri Trust CEO Uday Kumar, DME Dr. Narendra Kumar, Health Director Dr. Ravinder Kumar, TVVP Commissioner Dr. Ajay Kumar and Special Officer Vimala Thomas.
