Hyderabad: Telangana Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Saturday inaugurated the fifth edition of BNI Vantage GoNat 2025, the largest MSME expo in the Telugu States. He also announced a set of new initiatives to boost MSMEs in the region.
Speaking at the event held at SS Convention in Shamshabad, the Minister said the state government will launch an Artificial Intelligence Innovation Hub within two months. This hub will help MSMEs adopt AI technologies and improve operational efficiency.
Additionally, he revealed plans to establish two new dry ports one towards Mumbai and another near Vijayawada. These will enhance export connectivity and reduce logistical challenges.
“While the government creates platforms and opportunities, entrepreneurs must embrace networking to grow. Platforms like BNI play a crucial role in that journey,” Sridhar Babu said.
He noted that Telangana was the first among India’s younger states to implement an exclusive MSME policy. Moreover, he reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting small and medium enterprises, which he described as critical to job creation and livelihoods.
