HYDERABAD: Telangana has secured the top position in policing among Indian states with populations exceeding one crore, according to the India Justice Report 2025. The recognition has been hailed as a significant achievement by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who extended congratulations to the entire state police force for their exemplary performance.
The India Justice Report, compiled by respected institutions including Tata Trusts, Centre for Social Justice, and Common Cause, placed Telangana at the forefront for its policing standards among 18 large states. The Chief Minister described this as a proud moment for the state, attributing the honour to the unwavering efforts and dedication of the Telangana Police.
CM Revanth Reddy stated that the police have been successful in maintaining peace and justice in the state through efficient crime control, strict action against offenders, and transparency in case registration. He praised their commitment to public safety and their role in building trust among the citizens.
“This recognition is the result of collective effort by the entire police force,” said the Chief Minister, noting that their relentless sense of duty has strengthened public confidence in law enforcement.
He expressed hope that the Telangana Police would continue to achieve such milestones in the future, further enhancing the state’s reputation for law and order.
