Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Friday transferred six IAS officers in a significant reshuffle across key departments. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao issued the orders through G.O.Rt No.1340.
Officials said the changes were made in the interest of administration and covered postings in commercial taxes, agriculture, education, and district administration.
Telangana IAS reshuffle covers commercial taxes, education and districts
Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, IAS (1999), Special Secretary to the Government, Commercial Taxes and Excise, took additional charge as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, replacing Raghunandan Rao, IAS (2002).
Raghunandan Rao was shifted as Secretary to the Government, Agriculture and Cooperation, while S. Surendra Mohan, IAS (2005), moved to Secretary, Transport, Roads and Buildings Department. Surendra Mohan will also hold full additional charge of Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
M. Haritha, IAS (2013), was transferred as Special Secretary to the Government, Education Department, replacing Sandeep Kumar Jha, IAS (2014). Jha was posted as Collector and District Magistrate, Rajanna Sircilla.
Meanwhile, Sandeep Kumar Jha was also given additional charge as Special Secretary to the Government, Transport, Roads and Buildings Department.
