Hyderabad: The Telangana Government Employees Joint Action Committee (TGEJAC) on Thursday urged Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari to take immediate action to streamline the Employee Health Scheme (EHS) and release a pending Dearness Allowance (DA).
TGEJAC chairman M. Jagadeeshwar and secretary general Eluri Srinivas Rao, along with a delegation, met the CS and raised multiple long-standing employee issues. They requested the government to define clear guidelines for EHS implementation and to convene the Joint Staff Council to address unresolved matters.
TGEJAC urges CS to prioritise EHS, DA, staff grievances
The delegation reminded the CS that the government had earlier assured resolution of several employee concerns. They demanded immediate release of at least one pending DA installment. They also stressed the need for timely dialogue on all unresolved staff issues through the council mechanism.
According to TGEJAC leaders, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao responded positively and assured steps would be taken to resolve the issues.
Leaders who met the CS included Damodar Reddy, Vanga Ravinder Reddy, Madhusudan Reddy, Sadanand Goud, Katkam Ramesh, Mujib Hussain, Kasturi Venkateshwarulu, B. Shyam, Srinivas Reddy, Dasya Nayak, and Prem, among others.
