HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has filed an appeal challenging the interim orders issued by a single bench of the High Court. The appeal was filed on Monday, requesting a review of the single bench’s decision.
Several petitions had been filed in the Telangana High Court regarding alleged irregularities in the Group-1 examination. Candidates complained of flaws in the evaluation of the main exam papers and violations in the allotment of examination centres. Further hearings and details in the case are expected in the coming days.
The interim order was issued during the hearing of petitions filed by M. Parmesh and 19 other candidates. The petitioners alleged that there was a lack of transparency in the Group-1 main examination results, with some candidates’ marks decreasing after re-evaluation, raising serious concerns about the evaluation process.
