Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has announced sharp reductions in ticket prices for buses operating on the Hyderabad–Vijayawada and Hyderabad–Bengaluru routes, slashing fares by 16% to 30%.
For the Vijayawada route, Garuda Plus fares dropped from ₹635 to ₹444, Garuda Class from ₹592 to ₹438, Rajadhani from ₹533 to ₹448, and Luxury Super Class from ₹815 to ₹685.
On the Bengaluru sector, Super Luxury ticket prices were cut from ₹946 to ₹757. In Lahari AC sleeper buses, berth fares dropped from ₹1,569 to ₹1,177, and berth-cum-seater fares from ₹1,203 to ₹903.
The fare reductions apply to both online and offline bookings. TGSRTC said the revised pricing aims to make travel more affordable and improve ridership. The move has been welcomed by commuters.
