Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) suspended bus operations temporarily from Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) on Saturday after floodwater from the Musi River entered the terminal.

Officials said TGSRTC shifted all buses scheduled to depart from MGBS to alternative points in Hyderabad. The corporation urged passengers not to visit MGBS until further notice.

TGSRTC announced that services towards Adilabad, Karimnagar, Medak and Nizamabad will now run from Jubilee Bus Station (JBS). Buses heading to Warangal and Hanamkonda will operate from Uppal Cross Roads, while those bound for Suryapet, Nalgonda and Vijayawada will start from LB Nagar. Services towards Mahabubnagar, Kurnool and Bengaluru will leave from Aramghar.

The corporation said it will continue diversions until floodwater recedes and operations return to normal at MGBS. Passengers must use the designated alternative points to reach their destinations.

For travel updates, commuters can call the TGSRTC helplines at 040-69440000 or 040-23450033.
