Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police arrested three suspects in the armed robbery at Khazana Jewellery in Chandanagar. Two were caught in Bidar, Karnataka, and one in Pune, Maharashtra. All three men are from Bihar. Police are bringing them to Hyderabad for interrogation.
According to officials, the gang stormed the showroom during business hours. They shot the deputy manager, smashed counters, and stuffed gold ornaments into three bags. Before fleeing on motorcycles, they fired at the CCTV cameras to destroy evidence.
Khazana Jewellery suspects hid in Hyderabad for a month
Investigators discovered the accused had reached Hyderabad a month before the robbery. They stayed in Jagadgirigutta and took up work in a glass factory. During this period, they smuggled firearms from Bihar and conducted detailed surveillance of the store. Once they finalised the plan, they carried out the heist and immediately left the city.
