Hyderabad: Hyderabad police on Wednesday arrested three men who robbed a 28-year-old after luring him through the Grindr dating app. The incident happened at Attapur under Rajendranagar police limits.
The accused are Mohd Sohail (24), Mohd Maqdoom Ali (25), and Mohd Abdul Wasif (25), all from Rajendranagar.

ACP Rajendranagar T. Srinivas said the victim, a resident of Vattepally, had opened an account on Grindr. Sohail contacted him and asked him to come to Rajendranagar. At an isolated spot, Sohail, Maqdoom, and Wasif forced him to transfer Rs 10,000 to an e-wallet. They also snatched his mobile phone.
The victim filed a complaint, and police quickly tracked down the three men. Officers booked a case and recovered evidence.
