Hyderabad: Three persons from Nizamabad district died and two others suffered serious injuries in a road accident near the Telangana–Maharashtra border late Wednesday night. The crash occurred near Nanda village in Bhokar taluka, close to Beltaroda in Nirmal district’s Tanur mandal.

According to police and local sources, the victims were returning home from a temple visit in Maharashtra. Around 11:30 p.m., their car rammed into a stationary lorry parked by the roadside, about three kilometres from Beltaroda.
The impact of the collision was severe, instantly killing three people in the vehicle. Two others sustained critical injuries.

The deceased and injured passengers were all residents of Varni mandal in Nizamabad district. Among the injured, a man identified as Chandrasekhar was in critical condition. He was initially rushed to a hospital in Bhainsa and later shifted to a higher medical facility in Nizamabad for advanced treatment.
Local residents and emergency responders reached the accident site soon after the crash. Police registered a case and began an investigation to determine whether negligence or poor visibility played a role.
