Telangana Rising 2047

Hyderabad: Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair has written to Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, commending the state’s “Telangana Rising 2047” policy framework.

Blair’s letter follows a meeting with Revanth Reddy during the latter’s recent visit to New Delhi, where the Chief Minister presented the state’s economic and developmental roadmap aimed at achieving a trillion-dollar economy through increased investment and IT exports.

Officials confirmed that the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change and the Telangana government have formalised a partnership. Both sides signed a Letter of Intent to collaborate on implementing the Telangana Rising vision.

In his correspondence, Blair reportedly conveyed his appreciation for the long-term strategy and assured the state of full support from his institute in advancing the policy goals.
