HYDERABAD, February 11: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud has directly challenged BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), questioning his political accountability. Goud criticised KTR for his remarks on Congress governance and dared him to prove his claims with facts.
Speaking to the media, Goud alleged that the BRS leadership was misleading the public and failing to acknowledge its own governance shortcomings. He accused KTR of making baseless statements against the Congress government without addressing the failures of the previous administration.
The TPCC chief further asserted that the Congress government is committed to fulfilling its promises and working for the welfare of the people. He invited KTR to engage in an open debate on governance issues, urging him to substantiate his allegations with evidence.
This challenge has intensified the ongoing political tussle between the Congress and BRS in Telangana. It remains to be seen how KTR and the BRS leadership will respond to Goud’s remarks.
