Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud chaired a key preparatory meeting for the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election on Sunday. The Congress has decided to treat the election as a high-priority contest.
AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan attended the meeting as chief guest and offered strategic guidance to the party’s state leaders. She urged coordination at all levels to ensure a strong campaign. The session focused on consolidating voter support and planning booth-level outreach.
Senior leaders including AICC Secretary Vishwanathan and State Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao participated, along with Corporation Chairpersons and local corporators from the division. The leadership reviewed organisational readiness and mobilization strategies.

Mahesh Kumar Goud emphasised that the Jubilee Hills by-election must be approached with complete seriousness. He outlined steps to streamline communication between local teams and state leadership. The TPCC President also instructed party workers to increase door-to-door engagement and voter interaction.
Congress leaders resolved to strengthen their presence in every locality of the constituency. They will focus on showcasing the Revanth Reddy government’s initiatives and welfare schemes, aiming to convert state-level performance into local support.
