HYDERABAD, February 10: On Monday morning, a 45-year-old tractor driver from Andhra Pradesh died after falling under his vehicle near Meenavolu village. The incident occurred when the tractor lost control and veered onto a roadside mound, causing the driver to fall and be run over by the trailer’s tyre.
According to Sub-Inspector Venkatesh, the deceased, identified as Vemula Lakshmaiah from Mailavaram in NTR district, was driving from Errupalem to Madhira when the accident happened near Meenavolu village. He is survived by his wife, son, and daughter. Based on a complaint from the bereaved family, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
