Hyderabad: Hyderabad Traffic Police announced traffic diversions on Friday for the “Lord Sri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsava” at the ISKCON temple, Abids, scheduled on August 16. The restrictions will remain in effect from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Routes to avoid:
Commuters should avoid Yousuf & Company – Jawaharlal Nehru Road – Abids Circle – Old Hyderabad Collector Office – Chirag Ali – Nampally Station Road.
Diversions:
Traffic from Gunfoundry and Tilak Road Junction towards Nampally Station Road will divert at GPO Junction towards MJ Market.
Vehicles from Jambagh Road and SA Bazar Mosque heading to GPO Junction will divert at MJ Market towards Gandhi Bhavan and Chappel Road.
Traffic from Nampally to Koti Bank Street can continue via HP Petrol Pump, ACB Lane, Yousuf & Company, Troop Bazar, and Koti Bank Street.
Vehicles from BJP State Office to Tr. PS Abids Junction will divert towards MJ Market Road.

Parking:
Devotees attending the ISKCON temple should park at Exhibition Ground, Nampally.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D. Joel Davis, IPS, urged citizens to follow the advisory. He also appealed for cooperation with traffic police to ensure smooth movement during the event.
