Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police imposed traffic restrictions across major routes on Sunday morning for the Hyderabad Runners Marathon, scheduled from 4:30 am to 9:00 am.
The marathon began at People’s Plaza on PVNR Marg and concluded at G M C Balayogi Stadium in Gachibowli. The route passed through Hussain Sagar, Punjagutta, KBR Park, Jubilee Hills check-post, and the Durgam Cheruvu Cable-Stayed Bridge.
Officials said diversions were implemented at Necklace Rotary, Panjagutta, Raj Bhavan Road, Jubilee Hills, and Road No. 45. Traffic coming from Punjagutta, Liberty, Musheerabad, Ranigunj, and Srinagar Colony was diverted at designated points until the runners cleared the stretch.

Police advised commuters to avoid the marathon corridor and use alternative routes during the event. In case of emergencies, citizens were asked to contact the traffic helpline number 9010203626 for assistance.
