Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will visit the flood-hit JR Colony in Kamareddy town today. In view of his visit, police have announced traffic restrictions from 12 noon to 3 p.m.

To ease congestion, vehicles coming from Hyderabad via Pocharam will be diverted through the Sircilla bypass road to enter Kamareddy. Traffic from Sircilla Road towards Nizamsagar will pass through the Railway Station, Indira Chowk, Old Bus Stand, Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple, Railway Gate, and Ashok Nagar before reaching the New Bus Stand.
Vehicles heading to Ellareddy from the New Bus Stand must use the Municipal Office route via Old Sai Baba Temple, Devunipalli Gram Panchayat, and Bhagat Singh Statue.
Motorists returning from the New Bus Stand to Hyderabad will follow the Tekrial bypass to join National Highway-44 via the Nizamabad route.
Kamareddy police requested residents and commuters to cooperate with the traffic plan to avoid congestion during the Chief Minister’s visit. Authorities said the measures are temporary and aimed at ensuring a smooth inspection of flood-affected areas.
