Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao underlined the government’s focus on creating necessary infrastructure to match the growing population’s needs, during his visit to Khammam today. The minister laid foundation stones for several development works and emphasised that all government-sponsored projects must meet high-quality standards.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Tummala said that funds of Rs 300 crore are being sanctioned every year for the development of Khammam city. He said these funds are driving the city’s transformation, aiming to equip it with modern amenities.
Later, the minister inspected the development works being done in Khammam city. He visited the underground drainage, flood canal works and road widening areas. During his review, Tummala directed officials to expedite the pace of work, ensuring timely completion without compromising on quality.
