Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Saturday reiterated the Telangana government’s commitment to transforming Hyderabad into a global city, citing ongoing infrastructure projects and urging public support ahead of the Jubilee Hills by-election.
He was speaking after laying the foundation for development works worth ₹3.77 crore in Jubilee Hills constituency, including projects across Krishna Nagar, Yusufguda Basti, L.N. Nagar, and Venkatagiri in the Yusufguda division. The event also included the launch of civic upgrades in the SLP Zone under Circle 19.

Tummala stated that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was focused on improving the quality of life in Hyderabad through sustained civic development. He said that the state would continue investing in urban upgrades to meet global standards.
The Minister appealed to voters in Jubilee Hills to support the Congress government in the upcoming bypoll, linking the administration’s performance to visible progress in infrastructure.
Hyderabad In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, and several senior Congress leaders participated in the event. A large number of residents also attended.
