Twins drown in Kamareddy pond after evening bath
Clothes found on the bank of a pond at the village outskirts led the family to suspect the worst. Police launched a search in the water, recovering one body late Monday night and the other on Tuesday morning. The bodies were sent to the district hospital for postmortem. A case was registered based on the father’s complaint.
The twins were the couple’s only children. Narsinlu works as a mason in Kamareddy, while Manjula rolls beedis for a living. Their modest means had not dimmed their affection for the boys, whom they had raised with care. The simultaneous loss of both sons plunged the family and village into grief.
