Hyderabad: Police in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district arrested two men transporting ganja from Odisha to Karimnagar, seizing 6.5 kilograms of the drug worth ₹1.3 lakh.
The suspects, identified as Lok Hariprasad and Anji Kumar from Sthambhampalli, were caught at Dobbalapadu Aluguvagu in Mahamuttaram mandal while carrying the contraband on a motorcycle.
Police said the ganja was being smuggled illegally from Odisha. The duo was taken into custody and later remanded. The motorcycle used in the transport was also seized.
