Hyderabad: Two persons were killed in a road accident near Renigunta in Thimmapur mandal on Thursday morning after an unidentified vehicle collided head-on with their motorcycle.
The victims, identified as Bhanuprakash and Naveen, hailed from Bejjenki mandal in Siddipet district. They died on the spot when a vehicle coming from the opposite direction rammed into their bike. The vehicle fled the scene and is yet to be traced.
Local police led by LMD Sub-Inspector Srikanth Goud visited the site, conducted preliminary inspection, and registered a case. The bodies were shifted to Karimnagar district headquarters hospital for postmortem. Investigation is underway to identify the vehicle and ascertain the sequence of events.
