Hyderabad: In a move that underscores Telangana’s growing appeal to international investors, two UAE-based giants Shaiva Group and Taranis Capital have inked investment deals worth Rs.2,125 crore with five local companies, setting the stage for 5,020 new jobs across the state.

The signing ceremony, held at the Secretariat on Tuesday, was graced by Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, who lauded the partnership as a testament to the state’s investor-friendly climate.

The Telangana firms Revelations Biotech, Manakin Bio, Svobodha Infinity Investment Advisors, Exigent Drilling Technology, and Yentra Tech Controls will each benefit from the influx of capital and expertise. These agreements are expected to bolster Telangana’s position as a hub for innovation and enterprise, Sridhar Babu said.

“The Revanth Reddy-led government is determined to attract investments and generate meaningful employment for our youth,” he remarked. “In the past 18 months alone, we’ve filled over 60,000 government posts and attracted over Rs.3 lakh crore in private sector investments, leading to more than 1 lakh jobs.”

He described Tuesday’s announcements as another milestone in that journey, highlighting the UAE firms’ plans to further invest Rs.24,000 crore over the next three years in a diverse range of sectors including biotech, AI, data centres, defence, energy, fintech, and public infrastructure.

In the biotech sector, the companies plan to focus on cutting-edge research, from low-sugar food solutions to anti-diabetic products, all aimed at advancing global health outcomes. Meanwhile, plans for large-scale infrastructure projects like Fourth City and AI City promise to transform the urban landscape.

“Telangana is more than a state; it’s a land of opportunities, a thriving hub of creativity and global partnerships,” Sridhar Babu declared. “Under the leadership of Revanth Reddy, we stand ready to support innovation, growth, and enterprise at every step.”

The agreements reaffirm Telangana’s status as a top destination for global investors seeking a dynamic, business-friendly environment with a highly skilled workforce.
