Hyderabad: The Vigilance and Enforcement Department launched its official logo and toll-free helpline number in Hyderabad on Monday. The event also marked the start of Vigilance Awareness Week at BRK Bhavan. Director General Shikha Goel and retired IAS officer and Vigilance Commissioner Gopal unveiled the new logo.

Speaking at the launch, Shikha Goel said the awareness week would run from October 27 to November 2 across the state of Telangana. She also introduced the toll-free helpline 144321, meant to strengthen public contact with the department.
Goel said the helpline would make it easier for people to reach the department and report issues. She added that the Vigilance and Enforcement Department stands for honesty, clarity, and responsibility in governance.
Goel explained that vigilance is not only about finding mistakes but also about preventing them. The department also launched official accounts on X and Instagram to share updates and reach a broader audience of citizens.
