Hyderabad: A 61-year-old woman and her daughter died by suicide after consuming pesticide at Gouraram village in Wargal mandal on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Veldurthi Bharatamma and her 26-year-old daughter Kavitha. Police said the motive behind the act is not yet known.
Local authorities registered a case and initiated an investigation. The bodies were shifted to the government hospital in Gajwel for postmortem.
