Hyderabad: A 29-year-old woman died by suspected suicide under the limits of Rajendranagar police station on Wednesday.
According to police, the deceased, Ishika, daughter of Ramesh from Hyderguda, had gone to the United States for higher studies and was employed at a prominent firm there. She returned to Hyderabad in the last week of June this year and had been working from home.
On Wednesday afternoon, Ishika did not come out of her room for several hours. At around 7 p.m., her mother went to check on her and found her hanging in the bedroom. The family immediately alerted the police.
Police register case, probe underway into suspected suicide
Officers reached the scene, registered a case, and began an investigation. The body was shifted to a hospital for post-mortem examination. Police are inquiring into the reasons behind the suspected suicide.
