Hyderabad: A murder case was reported under Saroornagar police limits, where a woman and her lover allegedly killed her husband on Wednesday night.
According to police, the victim, Shekar (40), had been married to Chitti (33) for the past 16 years. The couple had been residing in Kodandaramnagar, Saroornagar. While Shekar worked as a driver and often travelled outside, Chitti developed an extra-marital relationship with a youth named Harish.

Police said Shekar had repeatedly confronted his wife about the affair. Feeling that he stood in the way of their relationship, Chitti and Harish allegedly conspired to eliminate him. On the night of August 28, after Shekar went to sleep, Chitti called Harish to her house. Harish strangled Shekar while Chitti allegedly hit his head with a dumbbell, killing him on the spot.
Saroornagar police registered a murder case and launched an investigation.
