HYDERABAD: A woman attempting suicide by jumping into a pond near Patlam village in Telangana’s Kamareddy district was rescued in a swift operation by local police.
The woman, identified as Sunita from Patlam village, was seen leaping into the pond by nearby residents, who immediately alerted the police.
Responding promptly, police personnel rushed to the spot and bravely jumped into the water, successfully pulling the woman to safety.
She was then taken to a local hospital for medical attention.
According to police, the woman was driven to attempt suicide due to domestic disputes.
The courageous efforts of the police officers involved in the rescue have been widely praised by the community.
