Hyderabad: IPS officer Yogesh Goutam on Monday assumed charge as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for Rajendranagar Zone under Cyberabad Police. A 2018 batch officer, he succeeds after serving in multiple key assignments across Telangana.
Yogesh Goutam earlier worked as Additional SP of Mahabubabad, ADCP North Zone, DCP Administration in Cyberabad, and SP Narayanpet. He began his policing career with training in Warangal.

Speaking after taking charge, Goutam said his focus would be on strengthening policing in investigation, crime prevention, detection, and tackling property-related offences. He added that effective law and order management and public safety in Rajendranagar Zone would remain his top priorities.
