HYDERABAD: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka announced the approval of 55 Young India Integrated Residential Schools, aiming to provide international standard education to underprivileged students in Telangana. The government has sanctioned ₹11,600 crore for this initiative under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
These residential schools will be constructed on campuses spanning 20 to 25 acres, featuring state-of-the-art sports facilities and on-campus accommodations for teaching staff. The design includes digital education tools and mini-theaters, ensuring high-quality educational experiences. The curriculum is structured to prepare students to compete globally, equipping them for roles in leading international companies.
Vikramarka emphasized that this initiative aligns with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s focus on education, reflecting the government’s commitment to societal welfare. Despite financial constraints, the government is dedicated to investing in initiatives that benefit the public. The Deputy Chief Minister encouraged communities to utilize these educational facilities to their fullest potential.
