Yousufguda suicide case over debt humiliation
Two years ago, Balaji lent ₹1,000 to Durga. On September 17, he confronted the couple in a local market and demanded repayment. The two allegedly abused him. Police said Durga struck Balaji with her slipper in public view.
Humiliated, Balaji returned home. On Thursday, when his wife was away, he hanged himself from a ceiling fan. Manasa later found the house locked and saw him hanging inside through a window.
Madhuranagar police registered a case and opened an investigation.
