Hyderabad: Chaos erupted in Yellammabanda after a young man was chased down and hacked to death in full public view, in broad daylight, packed street, and no one could stop it.
He was having tea on Tuesday afternoon. That’s it. Just sitting at a roadside stall when a group of men showed up in an auto-rickshaw. No warning. They jumped out and went straight for him—knives out. Witnesses say they kept stabbing his head until he dropped. He died right there.
People were frozen. No one moved. The attackers didn’t care – they just kept going. Once they were done, they got back in the auto and vanished.
The place was in shock.
Cops showed up not long after. The body’s been taken to a government hospital for postmortem. Right now, the leading theory is an old grudge—some kind of long-standing rivalry. But no official word yet.
Investigators are checking footage, talking to locals. No arrests so far.
