Jurala project

Hyderabad: A young man went missing after jumping into the Jurala project fearing a car would hit him near the 48th gate on Sunday evening in Jogulamba Gadwal district.

Identified as Mahesh from Budidapadu village in Shantinagar mandal, the youth reportedly leapt into the water after a car veered close to him. The vehicle, driven by a man allegedly speaking on a mobile phone, came dangerously near Mahesh and another person on a motorcycle.

The second rider, Janakiramu, sustained injuries in the incident. Rescue operations were underway late Sunday, with teams conducting searches near the 48th gate of the project.
