Harsha Sai petitions High Court

HYDERABAD: YouTuber Harsha Sai has filed a petition in the Telangana High Court seeking the dismissal of cases registered against him at Punjagutta and Miyapur police stations. These cases allege his involvement in promoting illegal betting applications.

In his petition, Harsha Sai contends that the accusations are baseless and constitute a smear campaign against him. He asserts that the cases lack substantive evidence and requests the High Court to quash them promptly to prevent unwarranted legal proceedings.

Reports indicate that the High Court is likely to hear his petition soon. Previously, cases were filed against Harsha Sai in Punjagutta and Miyapur police stations for allegedly promoting betting apps. Amid fears of imminent arrest, it has been reported that he is currently residing abroad to evade law enforcement. Additionally, several other YouTubers from the Telugu states are facing similar charges, with some reportedly absconding overseas. Authorities have issued lookout notices to apprehend these individuals.
