Hyderabad: A 45-year-old man was reported missing after accidentally slipping into the Narinja stream in Potpalli village under Zaheerabad Rural police limits on Monday. Police identified the man as Bonala Bhaskar, a resident of the village.
According to CI Shivalingam, local police rushed to the site soon after receiving the alert and searched the waters until late at night. Fire services personnel joined the operation, using special cameras brought from Sangareddy, but found no trace of the man. Rising flood levels hampered the search, which will resume on Tuesday.
