Hyderabad: The Telangana Planning Department and the Union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation jointly organised a zonal workshop on the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) in Hyderabad on Friday.

The Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Centre hosted the event. Officials from southern states, Union Territories, and Telangana’s planning department joined the workshop.
The training highlighted major aspects of the MPLADS scheme. Trainers explained how to use the e-Sakshi portal and how to map funds through the Public Financial Management System (PFMS). They also gave hands-on demonstrations, which helped participants understand digital processes better. In addition, they cleared doubts raised during the sessions.

Planning Department Director Rufus Dattam inaugurated the program. Union Ministry Additional Secretary Pooja Singh Mandal and Deputy Director General Joseph attended as chief guests. They delivered special training sessions to the participants.
Both central and state planning officials joined the workshop.
